There are cameras everywhere on the 3D coverage. I mean that in a bad way, they keep getting in to shot. I watched a lot of the Opening Ceremony and I hardly saw a camera all evening. It does actually make good use of the 3D when you have a long shot and then you suddenly see a close up of the back of a cameraman's head coming out of the screen.

Good use of repeating the music, I have to ask is the English announcer ex LWT CA?

It's been good, save for One Direction who are intrinsically naff. The pointy orange helmet brigade of cyclists during The Pet Shop Boys was a highlight.

Can't imagine what people who aren't familiar with the OFAH reference would've made of that. They probably think we're completely nuts.

I was wondering if that was a contingency plan being put in to action, i.e. play the music again if they were still waiting for people to get in to place. Nothing really seemed to happen for about ten minutes or so.
