Sophie Raworth commentating for BBC ONE & BBC NEWS

Not any more, BBC News just lost the audio and The One Show are already doing something else anyway. Clive Myrie seemed to imply that it was Jane Hill that was lost, but I think it was Sophie Raworth that was speaking last. It seems that they have lost all audio, they are not even broadcasting background audio from the OB.

Jane Hill appeared in vision once the main bit was over

Lots of Twitter reaction to this event. Olympic flame is first trend in UK (also trending Worldwide), then David Beckham and The One Show trending third.

'Princess Anne's' also trending at one point, with posts referring to an unexpected voice and not letting the flame anywhere near her hair Laughing .

Seems BA have offered Sophie Raworth a trip back to London on the aircraft, and she's accepted it.

On a Friday night she'll spend more time circling in a holding pattern over Surrey, than it would probably take her to drive the length of the A303 Laughing

By the way, I was watching BAW2012 on Flight Radar from 19:00hrs. It was in a holding pattern off Falmouth for about 15 mins tonight, before coming in to land.

Manic day in Cornwall tomorrow, Cornwall Council are doing this properly. All Council Carparks are free for the day, so the number of people crowding in on the route and to the other themed events for the areas not being visited will be great.

I'm helping man a stand in Helston starting at 8.30 until the crowds disperse, so will probably be shattered come the evening.

And this is where The One Show broadcast from... Which looks like a large motor home, similar to F1 motor homes with a large section expanding out of the side, presumably going to be used frequently by The One Show following the Olympic Torch around the UK

Quick question.

The nights that the various BBC regions opt out of The One Show, to do their own coverage, will the One Show bring a brief report/brief OB to the rest of the UK still taking their show?

Looks like the Wales opt out may be in jeopardy with the NUJ and BECTU voting to strike next Friday.

Torch relay coverage on Red Button is terribly low bitrate - almost as if its being filmed on a domestic video camera!

It's not the best.

Watching it though, I can't help but think of all the hoo-haa there was with Google Street View and here are the BBC streaming a live version of it around the world.... Laughing

I do like some of the 'beauty' cut away shots that they sometimes switch to
