Galaxy was never on Sky - it was on BSB before the merger. When Sky took control Galaxy became SkyTv/Sky One
Best channel ever and shame it didn't last long on Sky platform - TARA. I wish another Irish channel (for UK viewers) would start.
btw what has happened to the so-called Oz channel. I was looking forward to watching Richmond Hill and E-Street all over again - as well as The Flying Doctors(RFDS - final season) and the return of Blue Heelers to British TV and even Shortland Street

And Prisoner: Cell Block H - although the whole series of PCBH is now being released onto DVD! Regarding the Downunder TV channel I emailed them a couple of months ago and got the following reply: "We're still working on getting the channel up and running but it is taking a lot longer then expected. This is because we need to secure a number of acquisition deals and as soon as this is done, we will renew the license for the channel."

Who remembers the original "Paramount" Channel that showed both comedies and Drama as well as films????
Does anyone ever remember that WB almost had a channel in this country - they even had the schedules printed in the listings magazine but never actually made it on air - does anyone know why????
