Nice to see that the adverts placed on ITV to advise the changeover dates to digital are using the "old/correct regional names".

Lovely to hear ITV West referred to as the "HTV West" region - No doubt a small cheer goes up at Bath Road when these adverts play out.

Weird - Where on earth would such names come from? No doubt they are really helpful to viewers!!

Oh by the way 623058, your use of "there" is incorrect according to the notes on the bottom of your post!!!

Yeah, I was rather pleasantly surprised when it came on "Granada will be switching to digital in 2009".

As for addresses, most of the ITV companies now use "ITV Productions" on the addressline, e.g. That Anthony Cotton Show referred to "ITV Productions, Quay Street, Manchester" Sad

The one airing in Northern Ireland refers to it as the "Ulster" region - whatever UTV call themselves.

I suppose it could always be in deference to the many viewers in Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.

The one on Yorkshire refers to the region as 'Yorkshire' funnilly enough

It would have to be a VERY, VERY small cheer.

Four staff can't make that much noise, can they?
