What old programmes would you like released on dvd?

Quality Tv should be made available on dvd (September 2005)

I think that the BBC and the ITV should launch new channels called BBC/ITV Gold .... just like ukgold. It would show all of the classics mentioned above and all of that sort of stuff . . . kind of like ITV3 but only good.

I'd like to see Dark Season, the Russell T. Davies Children's BBC drama (starring Kate Winslet!), and other similar things of that era.

Thanks David - just discovered the Starcops release. Hurray!

Think the CBBC drama you are talking about was "Century Falls"?ISTR "Moon Dial" was pretty impressive stuff for a childrens' drama as well.

I'd also love to see some of the 80s "gritty" drama shot mainly on tape released. I've got fond memories of "Rockliffe's Babies", and also would like to re-watch "The Old Men at the Zoo". ("Charters and Caldecott" could be an interesting repeat as well)

It would be good if the BBC/UK TV could do a bit more of what ITV3 are doing (and Granada Plus did before them) and repeat some of the less well known older series from the 70s and 80s. Some of them would be interesting to see again. UK Drama does some stuff - but it isn't as wide a variety as ITV3 AFAIK.

I'd totally forgotten about Rockcliffes Babies! Very Happy

That was a really good drama. I have vauge memories of it being on on a Friday night, after the 9 o'clock news, and me rushing home from Scouts to see it Embarassed
