Why is Chris Rogers on the NC at this hour? I'm sure he was on this evening.
Did the nightshift reader not turn up?
And the EPG on DTT is still f'd up.
BTW, I notice that Pat Murphy has different voices in different ads on the NC. Tsk.

It looks like he's done a swap, as at 10.30pm it was supposed to be Chris but it was Lloyd Bracey instead.
I'm not sure about these new Weather and Markets stings, a bit too silent

ITV News Channel have just had a 'Bullying Special'
This consisted of a phone-in style programme with callers ringing-up with their bullying stories and quandries.
Chaired by Nicolas Owen
http://members.lycos.co.uk/ohwhatanight/itvnewsc2.JPG
With the head of Childline in the studio
http://members.lycos.co.uk/ohwhatanight/itvnewsc3.JPG
And some bullying expert in the ITV NewsRoom
http://members.lycos.co.uk/ohwhatanight/itvnewsc5.JPG
A very BIG Your Questions graphic was on screen throughout most of the show
http://members.lycos.co.uk/ohwhatanight/itvnewsc1.JPG
Nicolas Owen kept moving so much with his head being behind the graphics that they removed the graphics from his shot or opting for a wider shot
http://members.lycos.co.uk/ohwhatanight/itvnewsc4.JPG
Nicolas also interviewed a mother and daughter from their Southampton studio.

Nice to see the Meridian News Studio

There was also a phone vote aswell

Chris Rogers was doing one last night on the Atkins diet. Wasnt anything special though. Like pretty much everything on the ITV News Channel, would be better with a co-presenter to get more of a discussion/banter going.

Alot of people here obsessed with co-presenters! If you want discussion and banter, try family and friends. At the end of the day, the ITV News Channel is their to report the news and most of the time one person does it fine (and for half the price of two!). It also depends on the partnership - the ITV Evening News team works well, but the BBC 6pm News doesn't benefit at all from having two anchors.

At least explain why you say this, instead of spouting your usual "ITV News is best" propaganda.
In my opinion the 6 on BBC1 works better, because they make a lot more use of the two rear projection screens in the studio, while one presenter is reporting from one of the screens on one item, the other can be preparing for the next story, and allows a fluid switch between one presenter standing up about one story, and the other at the desk with the other.
Apart from the times that they use the screen, the Evening News has nothing that requires or benefits a dual presentation, whereas it works for production values etc. on the 6.
