Meoww!! It looks like we have got our claws out here. I did actually say that the sooner the revamp the better, therefore until they invest in the channel, it won't gain anything on Sky and unless revamps don't cost any money, i would say the revamp signifies investment.
BTW, don't ITV have some of the most experienced presenters on British TV i.e. Andrew Harvey, John Suchet-which presenters is it that you think are useless?

I've always stuck with the ITV News Channel over Sky News and BBC News 24 because i think it has real potential. The ITV News Channel works much better with dual anchors, it has been done once before, I remember with Alistair Stewart joining Felicity Barr for her morning shift and Andew Harvey and Katie Derham working afternoons, (this was the day of the Euro announcement). The "banter" is good with two presenters and the conversations they have made the news more enjoyable; I remember Felicity and Alistair having a conversation about Prince Williams artwork once with alistair trying to get camera 3 to zoom in on it !
But ITV News should do dual anchoring all the time, Sky News and News 24 do it, why not ITV?
Yes another example of ITV NC excelling with today's news stories.
And what about today's line up of entertaining presenters, Felicity Barr, Rachel McTavish, Andrew Harvey, Nicholas Owen, Bill Neely, Mark Austin, Andrea Catherwood, Chris Rogers, John Suchet and Owen Thomas, probably better than Mike Embley and other dull types on BBC News 24

I keep going on to www.thetvroom.com where they have a section on the new itv news colour and tweaked graphics but there is one problem you click on it and you get an image will appear here shortly and details here shortly this has been on for all most a month. Typical does anyone know when they plan on putting some images and details on this website as I say I go to it every other day and so far no change i still get those annoying words. when itv news stop using the current tune will people like me be able to get hold of it. and how about the graphics such as the globe :

The lovely Mary Nightingale IS back on Monday as mentioned earlier, and Katie Derham moves to the Lunchtime News whilst Nick Owen takes a well deserved holiday. John Suchet is also off on holiday. There is no mention of when Leyla will be back.
The ITV News Channel were the first to break the news of Alastair Campbell's resignation. They have been excellent at breaking stories recently, within three minutes of the announcement they had a report on it from Dan Rivers, Political Editor Nick Robinson on the phone and other people on the phone. Then they went over to Angus Walker in Westminster.
They certainly are 'Breaking News For Britain'.
Just before 4 O' Clock on the ITV News Channel, Chris Rogers said goodbye and instead of the 'Breaking News For Britain' and the music, the main ITV1 end music came on (The one used on the Evening News).
