I did have the idea after seeing the ITV Wales ident and wondered how everyone would feeling about it...I know I would be against it

Does anyone know when the ITV Nightly News is moving to 9?

I would have a half hour bulletin at 9 with local news, then a 15 minute bulletin at 11, called ITV News at Nine and ITV Nightly News/ITV News/ITV News Update

Also has anyone seen the ITV News & News Channel Promo currently running on ITV1. It involves the faces, mainly Sir Trev, questionaing people with 'monday' 'tuesday' 'wednesday' etc. flashing up on the screen. Then the two logo's pop up on a stormy background with dramatic music! Quite good.

I saw it this evening, really nice promo. Could all this publicity etc... all of a sudden for ITV news and the news channel have something to do with Mannion and Steve Anderson being old friends Confused:

Why are the schedules so daft. One presenter does just 15mins. Another does 7 hours? That can't be right Confused:

Some bits are prerecorded.

It's all to do with the switching of the studios for the news on ITV1.

All the 15 minutes bulletins are in the other studio whilst they prepare for the main bulletin.

Well:
A) Why does that need a presenter change?
B) Why doesn't the ITV NC have a studio of its own?
