You are right Andrew but Helen Wright also did a 5 min weekend news at 1 pm today. I wonder how many more reporters will present programs on itv ay sugestions

Who knowes maybe we'll see Nick Robinson popping up on the ITV News Channel.

The ITV News Channel seems to have gone a bit pear shaped, with the breakfiller being played in silence at 5 to the hour

Last Night I saw an ITV News Channel Promotion featuring Trevor McDonalds, Mark Austin, Andrea Catherwood & Kate Derham talking about how the ITV News Channel breaks the news quickly. It was quite good, It was played just before the 11pm TOTH. Not sure if its been mentioned elsewhere.

But of course, the best presenters, Nicholas Owen & John Suchet have been left out. Even though they actually present on the news channel, unlike Trevor McDonald.

Did anyone see the itv news promo on the itv news channel just before the itv lunchtime news with nick owen started if so what did you think.
it was on monday 4 th august.

i was dissapointed that nick owen was not on the promo though

Technical problems with the ITV News Network on the News Channel tonight - reports kept stopping.

Also, at the end of a London Tonight report there was a brief shot of Nick Clarke (I think) in the LT studio. How does the ITVNC obtain the reports from the regions? I would have thought that ITN would get a clean feed due to the need to add NC-style astons? But why was Nick Clarke there?

John Suchet took two breaks (so we got the Abforce ad twice) promising to fix the problems, but after the second break Lauren Taylor came back

Not sure about the new bits that lead into the adverts on ITV NC saying something about breaking news for Britain. The music sounds like it should be in Michael Buerk's 999 programme

Hmm. the ITV NC seems to be in nasty stretched widescreen this afternoon.

Even though it's stretched to Widescreen, it looks a lot nicer

The ITVNC took the ITV1 Weather bulletin after tonight's Evening News and then went into that Liberia Appeal, complete with ITV1 ident.

Just heard on ITV1:

"This is ITV1, and the News at Ten is next". Hmm.
