There has just been a news report on ITV1 with Bill Neely in the CSO set, I think they interupted Quincy to bring the news about the arrest of the bloke with the missing girl.
Of course, half of the time taken up by report was about the evening news and the news channel.
I dislike Bill Neely. His voice, manerisms & haircut are extremely irritating. He bobs up and down in his chair throughout the program. James Mates & his eyebrows are almost as bad, but not quite.

Katie did the announcement herself, as the camera panned over the police station at Leigh and the music played, Katie said "Good Evening from Leigh where Shevaun is back with her parents".
Also, it sounded to me as though Katie Derham carried out the interview with the parents that went out to all broadcasters, am I right ?
