Who's the presenter on the News Channel at the moment?

Nina Nannar - media correspondant. Lauren Taylor, the presenter listed, has gone to Paris to report on this missing girl. Bill Neely was on earlier also.

Thanks - I thought it might be Nina Nannar, but I wasn't sure.

Chris Rogers is on Sky News overnight 12-6am this morning, and is on the ITVNC from 4pm!

I notice that they've started using yellow as well as white text on the ticker on the ITV News Channel

I think that was to make it clear that it was Breaking News.
The NC is certainly short of staff now, Lauren Taylor being in Paris for the time-being, Leyla Daybelge is on maternity, I think. Andrew Harvey is currently absent and I don't think Rachel McTavish is there either. Plus Sharon Grey hasn't been there to do the overnight shift for a while.

The rota for tomorrow shows they are one presenter down, as there are a few 'TBC' shifts on there, also, reporter Joyce Ohajah is also covering. ITV should think about a slight investment is full, permanent News Channel staff. ITV News Listings

The ITV Evening News was very good tonight, with Mark Austin anchoring out on the road again in Paris. ITN had 3 correspondents in Paris, Mark Austin, Adrian Brittain and Lauren Taylor.

Oh, and Lauren is very fluent in French as we found out. Very Happy

I wonder is tommorow's ITV Evening News really going to be presented by Bill Neely and Katie Derham?

No, it's all lies, just put there to mislead us Rolling Eyes

Why shouldn't Bill present? He's an ITV News presenter.

I guess it depends whether Mark Austin is still in Paris.

I think Mark really excells when hosting on location. As said during the Iraq War, ITV have kept their promise to have big stories broadcast on location, while the Six o'clock News seem to have forgotten they made the same pledge - they've only ventured out once - and that was to Westminster!
