Nigel Pickard interviewed in Media Guardian today posted:
Reports that ITV News will move to 10.30 pm in the autumn or New Year were premature, he says, because the issue is still under debate. "Dave Mannion [ITV News editor] has changed the way we do news, given it a real uplift. I do not think we serve our audience well, with two 10pm bulletins, or 'news at when'. That's crazy. We're still looking at two or three options, including what we do at 9pm."

Just seen the weekend news graphics for the first time (not the friday night version!!!)

They have also just had a LIVE two-way split screen shot rather on the big screen and it is a nice dark blue with two yellow blocks above each 'screen'

Felicity is looking a bit worse for wear mind - maybe its hayfever?

They did the two-way via a onscreen graphic rather than the big screen because today's bulletin came from the CSO studio.

No - its because shes on a CSO Set, thats why she looks a bit disfigured, discoloured and fuzzy Shocked Razz

Well obviously it was from the CSO studio - but her eyes looked VERY puffy and not as wide open as they usually are!

Don't think it was tonight? Wilson was in the studio with the exciting North west news, And there’s no regional programs tonight either, so who knows. Nice to see, the picture and sound out of sync at the start or was it just my c*** DTT box?

It was Thursday's programme with Lucy Meacock interviewing Tony Blair that was repeated at 11pm on Friday night on the News Channel. Although it looked more like the Late Debate than Granada Reports...

This article is worth a read to see the Americans take on the ITV Evening News. It seems that a channel over there has began to carry the bulletin , and they class it as "The No.1 Evening Newscast in Great Britain" and "The latest choice in news".

They call it saucy, and fast paced rugby scrum compared to the BBC's formal and well behaved style. It goes out at 5.30pm on Newsworld International. Very Happy
