here is the first minute of her debut. not an ideal start im sure you'll agree - it's cringe-worthy at one point (where she pauses to think - should i read the last headline or not) - oh and the fact there were no titles with just a wideshot of angie trying to put a brave face on it.

at least she can take solice in the fact no-one was watching (well, not many).

that said, once she got her feet under the table she did fine, more angie i say!

Awwww I know. Her big moment, and they ballsed it up for her. Never mind, as you say Angie done good.

It looks as if Angie could become the next big thing on here, perhaps a new legend to replace dear Maggie Mash, dearly departed from our screens.

Do I take it that you've got Broadband? It seems to be quite a big file at almost 3MB!

3mb is quite acceptable for 56k, unless it happens to trail along at 3k.

i get 5 to 6k so it doesnt really matter

Think it's been a while. The last time I remember her presenting an actual news bulletin was when she filled in on the Big Breakfast news in the mid-90s!

Dunno, but I don't think she's ever presented on a rolling news channel before has she ?? She presented the live induction of the Archbishop of Canterbury with gravitas and authority, she knows her stuff, she is fab.
