I don't think Alastair will return on ITN for a while yet, if ever.

I see Felicity Barr is doing all the Weekend News bulletins alone today - including the 5.20pm bulletin. I think this might be a better long term solution to the Weekend News host problems.

Trevor is back on News at Ten and as predicted, its back to the sitting at the desk format for the whole show. It looked much better last week with the big screen used for the first half.

Also, next week News at Ten is on Friday as well, but not BH Monday or Tuesday.

Steady on Trevor, I'm sure he's at least two months early for making a return to ITV News!

I bet he won't do that Friday though!

I notice that the 11am summary is back to sitting at the desk with no music (not sure about the Noon summary though)

The 11am has been like that for a while now...

Anyone with info on the 12pm?

This Friday: Fiona Foster - Weekend News
That Friday: News at Ten - he might do it as there is no Tonight as its been replaced by Airline followed by a Millionaire update.

I've noticed they're trying to make the ITV News Channel more of a 'rolling' news channel now. The main titles only seem to appear at the top of every hour now, with a recap of the headlines at half past. They have breaks at quarter past and quarter to, but go straight back into the news after them, with no recap of the top stories like they used to. It certainly feels a lot looser than before, not as structured.
