The (old) ITV News Thread

There was a problem with it the other day - they couldn't use the Locator at the same time as taking a live feed from Baghdad

Personally, I'd nominate the ITV News Locator as the most useless gadget covering this war - it didn't really do anything that wasn't covered on the big screen / virtual maps.

Fiona Foster, Alistair Stewart, Mary Nightingale all at ITV News. Spot the connection? Now all we need is Natasha Kaplinsky to defect from BBC Breakfast and I think we may have the full set...

I've noticed some slight changes on the ITVNC recently, like there not being a headline bed every half hour and not having a 'Top Stories' recap every 15 mins. Also, isn't Steve Scott the Channel Five football presenter?!

Has Carol Barnes presented any bulletins on ITV1???? I think Fiona Foster is going to be a regular presenter on ITV1, or thats what I zam told by my source at ITN. She is rostered to present next wseekend as well. Could someone get some screen grabs please.

Well, the Lunchtime News is back to 30minutes, James Mates hosted the Evening News in Baghdad and the News at Nine has now finished, with tonights main bulletin at 11pm.
