There's a worrying amount of TBC in that schedule. Where do you get this information from? Digiguide and my EPG are useless.

They are just like the News 24 Iraq Briefings - nothing to do with the government.

The NC has been doing 4 Iraq Briefings a day for weeks and weeks now. It's nothing new.

I saw former BBC Breakfast's and News 24's John Nicholson presenting on the ITV News Channel earlier. Is this also another War signing ?

Angie Rippon is on now. Very Happy

There was a bit of a cockup before - I think JN was in the virtual studio but they cut to the overhead shot of the main studio, at the start, and of course there was no-one there Laughing Then the background started disappearing and they had to cut to Downing Street early.

Have to say I've been impressed with some of their live coverage lately, although I still think simulcasting bulletins and repeating stuff overnight is shoddy.

Yes at 5pm they showed the usual wide shot of the studio, but there was nobody there and the monitors in the background were showing green, as John Nicholson was in the other studio

Then the CSO background went black!

Later they played the Markets sting for no apparant reason

Also at 3pm, the News Channel titles froze again, and you could hear Katie Derham talking to someone finding out when they were coming to her

omg! Looks like he will be featuring in all the late news this week then! First time for everything I suppose, although I wouldnt of thought he would have gone out there.

And will all the ITV News team, inc. GMTV's be staying together?

Awww, fabulous moment on the ITV News Channel just then. Angie Rippon was telling us about the Who Wants to be A Millionaire trial and the fact that Tecwen Whittock had claimed his coughing was a conicidence.
Exactly at that moment she had a coughing fit herself and could hardly speak !!!! I thought she was going to have an Anna Ford moment.

She recovered. Awwww poor Angie.
