Oops! Poor Katie!

Just going to the break, and we went to a studio wide shot, whilst Katie was still talking. She ended up turning to the wide shot, and laughing at the end of her "more news after the break".

I think the main aston is enough and dont think that there is any need for the rolling news bar to be on the screen when this is in use. It does look a bit crowded

I think it should be on screen during things like the Hans Blix interview, but not during the studio bits.

I'm sure it's only temporary until they get the new look. They'll probably have something similar then, but it'll be more slick. I'm surpried it's taken so long, I always said that the ITN News Channel should have had one, although I'm not 100% sure of this one. It looks nice enough though (when they remember to actually switch it on).

The ITV News Channel is starting to suffer from the old "looking patchy through too much fiddling" thing. The channel looked best when it first relaunched (with the 2d logo). They've just changed the "coming up" and "top stories" graphics (so that you can see them over the ticker) and they're not a patch on the previous ones. They're not a *lot* different, but they don't look as polished.

All I can say is I hope they hurry up with the revamp. It really is needed, and I'm hoping David Mannion will make it fab (I have a lot of faith in him though).

Hmmmm... Alistair Stewart is fab! Im snot sure about the ticker though. I cant decide whether I like it or not. I agree that ITV NC needs a new look though.

ITV News seem to be outshining the likes of News 24 and Sky today.

ITV have constant interviews, an up-to-date ticker, and the fab Alistair Stewart!

I think that war is just days away now.

I recorded Alastair Stewart from when he started at 2:30, until about 2:55 or 3:15. Nice to see him back! ITV News is getting better and better by the day!
