A friend of mine at itn tells me that Andrea Catherwood is presenting the itv1 bulletins over xmas and boxing day... but she is pregnant so can't drink anyway. Owen's off sick - he's apparenlty slipped a disc or something and was told to go home after literally crawling in over the past few days.

Owen being off sick would explain why he is listed on the EPG as doing the overnights, though Lloyd Bracey has being presenting.
Tongihts overnight presenter is listed on ITV.com as Rebecca Woodman and on the Sky EPG as James Woodman. I would guess this is Jemma Woodman?
What is the itv news channel doing over christmas? Are they having a presenter? If so who is it? And are they doing a sky news and having a review of the year programme every half an hour?

Yes, of course they'll have presenters - maybe just the two or three. Review of the Year programmes will probably consist of old reports of this year's events stuck together. Also on Christmas Day, the ITVNC last year repeated the Queens Speech evry hour!

Don't think it's the last. Somebody earlier in this thread mentioned that the new look to ITV News would be launched late January, I would have thought the new bulletin would coincide with that.
However, if there is a new look, and it's being unveiled in only a months time, we seem to know precious little about it.

If there is a new look someone or some source would brag about it quite far in advance and we would all know about it, like the News 24 Relaunch recently. Though if it was the last NAT they would probably have Sir Trev presenting, not that there's anything wrong with John Suchet.
I should expect that Christmas Day will see people like Sasha Herriman, Heather McCarthey and Chris Rogers to present on the ITV News Channel, and perhaps Leyla Daybelge or Shiulie Ghosh doing the ITV bulletins... it's usually the same presenter on all 3 bulletins.
