Nicholas Owen was in the srudio anchoring this morning, yet he wasn't the anchor of the Lunchtime News, which doesn't happen usually.
They certainly have a big team out around the Palace today, they have Romilly Weeks, Emma Murphy, Ruth Hockey, Harry Smith, Mark Austin, John Suchet, Tom Bradby etc....
I saw the Morning News this morning and it is great to see Owen on it again, after John last week.

It just goes to show that the ITVNC can do big events excellently when they pull their fingers out. Hopefully this 'cash boost' next year means we'll be seeing a lot more of it.
ITV News' Joyce Ohajah was honoured on Saturday 1st November at the Nigerian Achievers Awards, where she was presented with the "Media Personality of the Year" award.
At the London Hilton on Friday 31st October, ITV News presenter, Sharon Grey, was presented with an award for her work at ITN by the European Federation of Black Women Business Owners.
ITV had news updates every 30 mins from 10.30am this morning. Basically the usual ones slightly extended at 10.55 and 11.55 and extra ones at 10.30 and 11.30. The first one was presented from the newsroom for some reason
There was also an ITV News Summary with Mark Austin at 3pm, just like there always used to be

The NC DOG and clock was showing 00:00 at 01:00 but suddenly flipped to a 'recorded earlier' DOG with the old ITV News logo
For some reason they must be repeating the last hour complete with clock, but with another DOG overlayed to obscure it

The ITVNC will be building up to tomorrow's Rugby World Cup final with a re-run of the semi-final against France at 7.00pm. Plus, there will also be a chance to get into the spirit with a re-run of the England football team's World Cup win in 1966! This at 11.00
And it seems Romilly Weeks will be on overnights from next Monday according to ITV.com. I don't remember her having presented before?

That's what I said in this thread last time she was on the channel, but she's actually been a fairly frequent stand-in at odd times over the last year.
Also, her itn.co.uk biog says:

Romilly Weeks is a news reporter for ITV News, working across all ITV bulletins as well as being an occasional presenter on the ITV News Channel.
I think it is a very cheap trick to fill 90 minutes of airtime with a replay of the England final in 1996 on the ITV News Channel at 23:00 tonight!
The reason the ITVNC give is that it is to celebrate the last time England won!!! Hasnt anyone told them its a rugby world cup final tomorrow - not football!
Just when the ITVNC went up in my estimation they make a ridiculous decision like this!
PS Whilst im here its been great to see some of the old timers back this week - mainly Andrew Harvey and Carol Barnes!

YAY
I thought Andrew Harvey was a regular on the ITVNC? It's just a shame he can't be promoted to the main ITV News, he would be good for doing the weekend bulletins IMO. I haven't been watching the channel as much lately, but I didn't know that Carol Barnes is on there more often now, I thought she was only there for the Iraq Conflict (alá Alstair Stewart and Angela Rippon) but it's good to see some of the old ITN regulars back on the channel.
