The UK bureau that will be headed up by Tom Bradby, who becomes UK editor, covering a broad spectrum of domestic issues – effectively replacing the home affairs remit, which was covered by Shiulie Ghosh. The bureau will focus on investigative and "distinctive" reporting.

Any mention of the rest of the "raft of measures"?

Hmm this is interesting... I hope they add some more bureaux, they need a correspondant in Moscow, California, Berlin, Tokyo and Sydney.

Well they have cut even more correspondants off recently including Joyce Ohajah (Tansport) and Mark Webster (Ireland), they are now 'general correspondants.'
I think they should establish more foreign correspondants, and perhaps Tom Bradby's new team will mean better UK coverage.
I'm surprised that Tim Ewart or one of the general reporters haven't headed out to Australia for coverage of the Rugby World Cup, though they may for the final, pehaps.

Plus I saw a report on the Evening News with Shuille Ghosh, how long has she been back?

So now ITV have no royal correspondent as well then? But then again, Sky and to an extent Channel 4 and five only have general reporters with sports correspondents added on, with senior reporters doing the big events. By the way, is it me, or is Colin Baker only part-time or something? He doesn't seem to be on all that often, but when he is, he's an excellent reporter.

However whenever there is a story in Ireland Mark Webster will head out there, and Joyce Ohajah often reports on transport related story. I think they are called general reporters simply because there are not many Transport or Ireland related stories, and they can easily report on Transport and Ireland stories as well.

I would like to see Romilly Weeks, Emma Murphy, Chris Ship, Jason Farrell, Paul Davies, Dan Rivers, Philip Reay-Smith, Catherine Jacob, Emma Kennedy, Harry Smith etc should get a title, or go out and report from other countries.

Well Romilly Weeks and Catherine Jacob are often seen on ITV News, but people like Emma Murphy, Jason Farrell, James Dyson, Kavitha Prasad are usually only heard voicing over News Channel reports.
It's strange though because people like Dyson, Farell, Prasad, Kennedy are always heard on the News Channel and yet none of them are listed on the ITV News Channel's Reporters page on the website.

From my experience of working for Sky News and at LNN, the people who do voice over reports are usually the programme or channel producers. I remember when working on Sunrise that up to 4 producers would voice packages, its not uncommon.

Press Gazette posted:
ITV News has established a UK bureau to boost its coverage of home and domestic news, which will see the bulletin’s home affairs remit scrapped, writes Walé Azeez.

The bureau, launching on Monday, will be headed by royal correspondent Tom Bradby, above, who becomes UK editor. Home affairs editor Shiulie Ghosh will become a news correspondent.

Bradby will be joined by news correspondent Helen Wright, who becomes social affairs correspondent.

According to ITN, the UK bureau will focus on investigative reporting and domestic stories, but Bradby will continue to report on royal events.

Royal producer Sarah Hill has been promoted to deputy news editor and will run the news desk.

ITV News assistant editor Jonathan Munro said the changes would “enhance our reporting of important UK issues”.

People who work on the Morning News like Dan Maclaren, Anise Risley, Samana Haq etc are producers yes, but certainly not all of them are.

Leyla didn't seem quite ready to go on air at 7pm this evening, she was messing with her hair and speaking to someone off camera just as the camera came on.
I was just wondering, why do the News Channel never use the big screen? They sometimes present stories with it in view with images or videos on it, but they never stand next to it, why is this?

I have no idea, it is quite strange. Anyway, when does Leyla usually come on screen?

Aren't some of the voiceovers on News Channel reports done by ITN Radio/IRN journalists - like Duncan Gunstone and others?
