Well just as this week's ITV News Channel schedules were looking standardised, with the same presenter shifts on Monday and Tuesday, by Wednesday its all gone pear shaped with as you say Romilly Weeks popping up to do a bit and Lauren Taylor doing less than she did today, also its Katie Derham on the lunchtime News tommorow. It'd be better if the presenter changeover times were standardised across the week.

It looks like this is a Owen free week on the ITV NC with both Owen's not on this week!

I see Mark Webster is out reporting on that motor sport crash today. Keep to it we say! Plus, has anyone noticed that Mark Austin seems a lot better presenting on his own?

I disagree - he always seems lost when he's presenting on the News Channel, but he's fine on the ITV1 bulletins

It always appears as if Mark thinks the News Channel is not worthy of his time and just doesnt take it serious at all!

I rarely see him presenting on the News Channel anyway!

I see that they are again showing more detailed EPG info for the News Channel on DTT

Though not all muxes are showing the same data for the NC.

I thought Romilly did a good job presenting. Though I wish Leyla would return soon (anyone know when she is due back?).
I can't stand John Draper. I watched him last night and he moves his head too much for my liking and just generally isn't what I like to see in a news anchorman.

That's what I meant - ITV1 bulletins

I was disagreeing with you - you said he was better presenting on his own - I said I thought the opposite.

He's fine when co-presenting on the Evening News, but he hasn't mastered the ad-libbing necessary for rolling news.

No, you said he was fine on the ITV1 bullitens, I agree with you on that point. I never mentioned anything about the ITV News Channel. It's just that I watched I'm last night, and he seemed less stiff and more natural, and that has been a theme when he presents the late (non-Trevor/John) ITV1 News

I don't know about CNN, but I do know that Mary has been forced off screen because of .............. a zit.

Peter Levy can come on air with plasters and stiches all over his face, but Mary can't with her spot !! Laughing
