Angela Rippon and possibly Carol Barnes signed up to prevent overnight war coverage on the ITV News Channel.

Also, new look ITV News organised. Slates with new look on display in the editor's office. Keeps the big ben clock theme with the screen split into two. Goes with the blue and yellow ITV theme

Why are they signed up to prevent coverage? Does ITV not want us to hear what's going on? Wink

I'm just kidding. Anyway, this does sound interesting. A bit overdue, but a new look at last.

I suppose ITV are keen to do their best with the upcoming coverage. After all, if war does break out, it'll be sort of make or break time, as the first major running story the ITV NC has had to handle.

Oooh, now this is interesting. May I ask what your sources are. Makes sense to draft in some experienced presenters for the news channel whilst the crisis continues. I should imagine it will be shown on ITV1 as well.

Oh yes, Carol and Angela would be fabulous on ITV News. It seems quite fashionable for some of the older established faces to be making a comeback at the moment.

Any news on a set change for ITV News ?
