apart from Granada do any of the big studios exist now?

LWT, Yorkshire and HTV Wales studios are still alive and well, although HTV tend to let Independent Production Companies use theirs AIUI.

And going back to pre-1993 Thame's Teddington Studios and TVS's Maidstone Studios are both still operational and doing quite well. Although Teddington (now owned by Pinewood Shepperton) has lost half of it's site (offices and partof the scene dock) to Haymarket Publishing

Yorkshires is now called The Leeds Studios and does the same like HTV.

Does anyone know, have they actually put new signage up for The Leeds Studios now, or does the 'it fell off in a storm, honest' chevronless Yorkshire logo remain still?

No new signs down at Kirkstall Road, but I suggest you drive behind it for a true bit of nostalgia.

Nice old Yorkshire Television sign and an old truck thing with a 1993-syle Calendar logo on it.

That's weird, YTV is as good as dead, I thought they would aggressively market themselves as Leeds studios, like the Maidstone Studios etc

They do, but marketing isn't done by what sign is on the front. How many producers decide what studios they will use by driving past and having a look

It's the same with Granada in Manchester. I doubt you will find The Manchester Studios or 3SixtyMedia written anywhere on the outside

It's not exactly professional is it, if you are going to call yourself something, you shoul change the signage too, keeping the old Yorkshire TV stuff is pointless considering YTV is good as dead.

3SixtyMedia is written by the old enterance to Granada Studios Tours I think. Otherwise they have "ITV Granada" signs and the original Granada Television red signs.
