Going for Gold was tried twice on Channel 5 anyway (it was called One to Win for one series) so it is time for some new ideas now. I would like to see 100% return though. It must be quite cheap to make. Didn't they give away £100 each episode? The studio wasn't anything special and I don't imagine buying in questions costs that much either but it was a good play-along programme.

£7,500 to be exact. Ian Lygo was forced to retire from the show after winning 75 games when bosses changed the rules.
