Welcome to the US Sport on British TV Thread. All you fellow insomniacs and Yank ex-pats post your thoughts here.

BASEBALL NEWS:
> Despite the usual winter rumour-fest, Five TV has once again got live coverage of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball games for the 2006 season. No word on Wednesday Night, which was nicked by William Hill's Chanell 425 half way through last season. Jonathan Gould and David Lengel are again expected to be the Five TV frontmen.

> After its exclusive deal in the US with ESPN, there's no word on whether the World Baseball Classic will be carried on any UK networks. In the event of it being broadcast over here NASN is the most likely contender, although Sky, Channel 425, ITV4 and Five could all be possibilities.

NFL
> How come Five get all Sunday and Monday NFL games pre-new years and ITV then get highlights to the post-season games while Sky get blanket access without exclusivity on the SuperBowl?
