I may be very wrong, but I thought that the Storeton relay covered the City of Liverpool and even further out into Sefton and Knowsley, as well as Wirral except for West Kirby. When there was discussion about the fifth channel being a city based channel, the proposal was that transmissions from Storeton would be for a Liverpool based service.
You misunderstood my posting (perhaps deliberately) -- I was indicating that West Kirby would need to carry the same Liverpool opt out material as Storeton. And do not forget that the West Kirby repeater also covers Caldy, so you would have to have some golf course stories as well.
Does anybody know if in fact the West Kirby repeater gets its feed from Winter Hill direct, or from Storeton? And once analog is switched off, West Kirby will go dead, leaving only Storeton.
And geographically speaking, the site of the repeater is Storeton Woods, between Rest Hill Road and Red Hill Road, being neither in Storeton Village (very small) nor Little Storeton (tiny).

Does Liverpool have a separate relay for the whole city then?... how big an area does Storeton cover?

As for West Kirby - well I think a West Kirby opt of either programme would be fantastic...
