On the pylon ident there's some sort of 'wibbly' noise as the 4 is...uum...(is forming the right word to use with these)...forming up.
Sounds quite good.
Right, so for the idents themselves, well, I've only seen one, and it seems a bit dull. You know when the 4's going to appear, but then again you never seem to see it.
I find it strange me saying this but hey... that Pylon ident is not amazing, but I reckon if you were to add the forming boxed 4 logo at the end, it would be OK.

Interesting - you don't think it would be a tad odd having two '4's on-screen at the same time?

No, because the completed "4" out of the pylons is barely on screen for a split second.
Oh, of course yes, retarded me - actually, I can almost see that working.
I forgot that the formed up logo doesn't conclude the ident.......certainly a possibility. Perhaps someone could slap one onto the video of an existing ident to see how it works?
The idents and promotions look like an advert for a skateboard company. Channel 4, what have you done!?
Also, why is white being used as a background colour? It is just too much. Black would have been a much better choice.
In short, I feel these idents would be fine for a channel such as extreme sports or trouble, but are simply unsuitable for Channel 4; especially as it is currently attempting to become higher-brow.
