It looks like I was completely right to be pessimistic about this new look - it's terrible! Just like the BBC One dancers, this was an idea that had huge potential but has, once again, been executed in the most poor manner possible. You can barely even make out the "4" logo in the two that I've seen, and whatever happened to clever execution and attention-grabbing music?

I can't see anything "modern" about these idents. They're not a million miles apart from CH5's. Fresh? No. "Funky" No. Modern? hardly! Rolling Eyes They're awful.

Does this mean that C4 News will be given new titles?

I've heard that yes the channel 4 news will get new titles, but I could be wrong.

I haven't seen the new look on screen yet, but from looking at the caps, I have noticed that I do like some of them, but others are maybe not looking to good?

I've just seen the menu and I love it. It tells you the next three or four programmes, as well as what is on after that and after that! Loads of information.

I really like them.

I am loving the new look, the only thing I don't like is what they have done with the website.

The ident they just used is weird, involving haystacks. I did try capturing it but I messed things up when capturing.

I realy like the animation at the top of the home page with the 4 zooming in and out to reveal pictures of programmes.

The logo looks far better on screen when angled rather than when it is flat on a poster

Yes, the website graphics are very nice. On screen I'm not sure I like the jaunty angle of the 4. I've only seen the hay bales ident but I thought the big floating bits were quite disturbing...

When the logo is in a graphical form, as opposed to made up from objects, it looks good on screen
