Official Big Brother 5 Thread

BB5 is obviously going to start much later this year. The auditions don't end until March 14th, and this is just the first round of auditions. Those people who made an impression will be called back loads of times, asked to do medical checks, talk to psychologists etc. I checked the 'Big Brother Auditions FAQ', and that confirms that they are only the first round of auditions - open to anyone!

So, there's no way BB5 will be starting at it's usual time, in May! The house hasn't even been reconstructed yet - I know this, because when the builders start work on the house, people who live near it always come on here and post, telling us all!

Finally, the thing that could ruin BB5, is the fact that 'Euro 2004' will also be shown on tv this year. Not even BB can compete with football! I'm sure the producers know this though, so they are probably going to show BB5 after 'Euro 2004'. I'm sure 'Euro 2004' starts in a couple of months(can't be certain of date though), and it does go on for a while, so there's no way BB5 will be starting before 'Euro 2004'.

So, I'd say that BB5 will start somewhere in between the end of August and the start of October. If you've read everything I wrote above, then it makes perfect sense. Jun/July/August is when most people go on holiday. Kids usually go back to school around September 2nd, and so people would probably be back from their holidays by this time, and parents would be back at work. This is the perfect time to air BB5 - there's never anything on tv at this time of year, so BB5 would most likely get loads of viewers!

2.After the dodgy votes no-one if they have a brain trusts the voting system.
3.I'm a celebrity and Pop idol where alot better than BB3 & BB4.
4.Euro 2004 will be on.
5.Cam winning made the show into a joke.
