Arrow Still not commisioning a regular sharp, topical, satirial comedy show

Indeed. Shall we start a campaign to bring back "The Recommeneded Daily Allowance" then . . . ? (For those
that can't remember, The RDA was a topical but irreverent nightly comedy show presented by John Gordillo.
It was shown late nights (around 23:00) on BBC THREE, back when it was still called BBC CHOICE.

I would love to see a programme like that. Comedy Central make a brilliant satrical show aired Monday to Thursday and it is hillarious. It is The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. You can watch a weekly version on CNNi on Saturdays at 11pm, or you can watch it online, for free, through broadband on their site. If BBC Three made a programme half as good as this I would certainly watch.

The RDA was EXACTLY the kind of show I was thinking of when I was typing thought about the lack of topical comedy originally. Cool

And I can't think of anyone better to host it than Paddy O'Connell. He's demonstrated he can do serious stuff (World Biz Report, Broadcasting House etc.) and also more off-the-wall stuff (his location stuff for Celebdaq was great)

A lot of BBC3s programs are utter rubbish, but there has been some good'ns like Little Britain and Hercules, which coincidentally were narrated by my 2 most favourite actors, Tom Baker and Paul Darrow.

Ok i'm biased about Tom Baker because i run his website, but hes still a great narrator on that show don't you think? Very Happy

This Is Granada
Things I like about the third BBC Channel:
Liquid News
3-Non Blondes
Burn It
Little Britain
Body Hits
Blob Idents
and.........Good old Lola Buckley!!! This women rules! I wish BBC Choice was still here. The way she said 'In half an hour on BBC Choice' so fast not many could understand her was so good. The name BBC Three has not got that ring to it like Choice did.

Things I do not like about the third BBC Channel:
Celebdaq
African football or any programs related to Africa
Refusing to show Queer as Folk USA or any Gay programs like Choice did.
The Bachelor - What a stupid show with a silly man and loads of women on it
Hercules - Pure C*** at its best
FightBox - Worse than Hercules
The News show - much prefer the 7O'Clock news on BBC Three than the lame news show!
EastEnders Revealed - Cr*p on BBC Choice. Even more C*** on BBC THREE
Male Announcers - The previous Guy who called it BBC Free got on my nerves and the current one shouts too much.
