Isn't this asked every time? Somebody should start some sort of page explaining.

Interesting to see a complaint for a channel not technically broadcast to the UK. I'm guessing that foreign channels that broadcast/are registered in the UK have to comply with British regulations (a la the watershed in the UK) rather than what might be acceptable in the country they broadcast to?

I wish they published the letters - would love to know about the dangerous behaviour during the snooker and nudity on The X Factor Results.

So, Ofcom bulletin 127 is available.
Entrants in the "Not in Breach/Resolved" include:
Hypnotic images on Eden channel idents.
Nudity on Brainiac. Oh those poor manikins.
Unconscious influence/hypnosis/subliminal content during the FA Cup on ITV last month.
Dangerous Behaviour and Nudity on TV Burp.
Most Haunted for usual reasons.
Dangerous behaviour during the Snooker. Apparently.
More violence on The Simpsons.
Nudity on The X-Factor Result Show.
Something's very wrong, somewhere. Many complaints about absolutely nothing.

"Nudity" is a catch all. It was probably a skimpy top on a young lady.

I'd imagine it will cost very little to keep that going - the domain name will cost a tenner for 2 years and it could well be hosted on the same server as ofcom's current site.

It also depends when it was registered and what the deal was when it was registered. The old Children's Channel website stayed online for nearly a decade after the channel itself had become trouble - it only disappeared a couple of years ago.
