With regards to the bulletin, what on earth is "Teletext Page 301 11/10/2009 ITV1 Generally Accepted
Standards, one complaint"? Somebody complaining about the news service on Teletext? Won't be a problem after next month, will it?
Copious issues about sponsorship bumpers, the so-called "gender bending" song on The X Factor, and treatment of the children on Britain's Got Talent.
Elsewhere:
Nudity on Brainiac.
Dangerous Behaviour on You've Been Framed.
"only" 29 complaints about Nick Griffin on Question Time?
Payment of crime on Alan Titchmarsh's show.
Nudity on Top Gear.
Also bucketloads of complaints about the X Factor.
some people, would complane about too much food on a cookery programme
People were complaining on Points of View last week as there was too much of the wrong type of food being cooked on BBC Shows... i.e. if you were a vegetarian, you wasn't being catered for.
Is there any specific reason that many of ITV's programmes are listed as 'being compiled [sic] by Channel TV' on behalf of the network?
Because there are only two companies that do compliance for ITV - the other being ITV Broadcasting. It's got to be one of the two. And as said, because Channel is the smaller of the two, the maximum fine is a lot less. See this Grauniad article.
Animal Welfare (?) on Deal or No Deal? Episode 23/10/2009
Incite to Crime on TV Burp, also dangerous behaviour and violence.
Nudity on trailers for Most Haunted.
Offensive Language on the Basil Brush show.
The inaccuracy of the trailer for 3D week on Channel 4.
People who need to get a life? I mean honestly, more people complained about X Factor than Question Time (which I thought QT was brilliant if only to see that ugly slimy toad squirm ).
