Other Programmes Not in Breach/Resolved Up to 22 April 2009:

More offensive language on BmiBaby sponsor bumpers.
Nudity on GMTV.
More nudity on TV Burp.
Dangerous Behaviour on Hell's Kitchen. Naughty Gordon.
Generally Accepted Standards during Jade Goody's Funeral.
Nudity on Radio 2 with Jonathan Ross.
Dangerous Behaviour on Malteaser sponsor bumper.
Sex/Nudity on Sexcetra. Hmm, I wonder why...
Violence on Spongebob Squarepants.

Next time's Ofcom bulletin is surely going to have shed loads of complaints for Britain's Got Talent, if anybody saw that "act" last Saturday with the totally insane wierdo bloke who Kelly Brooks thought had stabbed himself in the head...

I'm guessing that's the bumper which features the phrase "...and sand up your bum!". Rolling Eyes

These are just hilarious.

Religious Offence on Doctor Who , Sex and Nudity on Over 18s TV , and... substance abuse on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross .

Who has the time to watch that much TV to find something to pick at?

According to Ofcom, Indian Idol is "based on the American programme, American Idol". Hmmm... Rolling Eyes

And once again:

Ofcom Bulletin 133:

Other Programmes Not in Breach/Resolved Up to 5 May 2009:

Inaccuracy/Misleading in the appropriately named A Convenient Fiction on InfoTV 2.

Compaints about Sex/Nudity on Britain's Got Talent - but NOT about the guy who appeared to stab himself in the head. No, the complaint would appear to be for the burlesque dancer, Fabia Cerra, from week 1. The compaint for Sex/Nudity on Week 2 of BGT I can only find has to be that weird bloke who stuck his finger in his navel and then his mouth. Dangerous Behaviour on the spin-off show too.

Generally Accepted Standards on EastEnders, April 2nd - Danielle's Death.
Bad language on Sonic The Hedgehog.
Offensive Language on Sky News Interactive (?)
A complaint about the EPG description of the TV film 'The Lost Prince' on Yesterday.
More violence and nudity on The Simpsons.
Domino's sponsorship of America's Got Talent on ITV2 - harm/food (?)
What happened during the UEFA Champions League Live on ITV1 on 14th April to generate 40 complaints?

That'll be the multiscreen, surely.

Surely the UEFA complaint against ITV1 was due to the commercial break being put in the wrong place. Did anybody complain when BBC One lost a match during Euro 2008? Hmm maybe not!

That was an FA Cup game IIRC.

The Ramsey one is an interesting one. I just wonder how many **** people deem acceptable before they decide to be offended. I know I taped that show and watched it after it had been reported the show contained hundreds of expletives and didn't think it contained anywhere near as many as they were making out, and not particularly more than a regular episode.

I just don't get why you'd choose to watch a Gordon Ramsay programme if you're offended by the word 'F**k'. Personally I find after it's been said a few times in a programme, I stop noticing.

Issue 134:
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/tv/obb/prog_cb/obb134/issue134.pdf

Violence on the sponsor bumpers for Britain's Got Talent.
Inaccuracy on all of the Party Poltical Broadcasts. Hah, what did they expect? Smile
Continuity preceding Tonight's The Night 09/05/2009 BBC1 - Generally Accepted Standards. Any clues?
Harm/Food on Five pre-school programming.
Animal Welfare Issues on Horse Racing from Aintree.
Inaccurate weather forecasting on Sky News. Very Happy
Nudity on Top Gear.

Seems to be swinging more towards complaints about the sponsor bumpers than the programmes themselves.
