Are you meaning as in how Central used to "Present" The Bill to network after 1993?

Tell me to shut up Hyma, but Carlton used to "Present" The Bill to the Network after '93. Laughing

It changed at least once, I think initially it was a Yorkshire presentation

Issue 130 now available:
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/tv/obb/prog_cb/obb130/issue130.pdf

Entries in the looney bin this time include:

Dangerous Behaviour on the Saturday Night Takeaway.
More Nudity on Brainiac.
Substance Abuse (apparently) on Globo Loco (CITV show made about five years ago)
Violence on Have I Got News For You. Ian must be a sore loser.
Nudity on T4.

You missed the complaint from 2 people that there was offensive language in the BMIbaby.com sponsorship of ITV Granada weather!

There's also dangerous behaviour in the Harvey's sponsorship of Coronation Street!

I didn't know Channel TV were responsible for compliance in sponsorship credits on ITV. ITV palming off a poisoned chalice on Channel?
Here's my theory on it, it probably makes no sense but hear me out!

Channel presumably has lost advertising revenue over the last few years like all other comercial channels out there, and they have a particularly small market anyway so it would have been difficult to raise cash in the first place. I'm guessing that ITV are paying them to do this work to keep Channel going as otherwise if Channel were to fall through, it's possible that Ofcom would expect ITV plc to take over responsibilities (like news which they'd probably just merge with the South-West) which I doubt would be in ITV's interests since it generates little cash (if any).

This, of course, is assuming that Channel is in deep trouble financially, though there's nothing out there to suggest there is!

...yes that is quite a stupid theory reading over it! Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Nice theory but quite wrong.

By taking responsibility for a programme, Channel becomes its publisher. If something goes wrong, then OFCOM fines the publisher. Such fines are always proportional to the company's income. Channel's income is very substantially smaller than that of any other 'ITV Licensee'. Therefore any fines doled out are very small. It's a loophole that ITV makes the most of. Channel's finances are perfectly sound.

Looney Bin time once again:
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/tv/obb/prog_cb/obb131/issue131.pdf

Offensive language on a BmiBaby sponsor bumper.
"Harm/Food" on Ed and Oucho's Excellent Inventions.
Incitement to crime on Maltesers sponsor bumper.
Substance abuse on The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
Inaccuracy/Misleading on Cbeebies.

One of the more interesting entries was "Digital On-screen Graphics 18/03/2009 ITV1". That was a Wednesday, was the channel showing football?

Not sure really, on BARB it says that the UEFA Champions League was on the Tuesday.

Edit: Forget about that, that was the week before, however their does not seem to be any football that Wednesday.

Was that not the night of the infamous The Bill ECP cock-up during Corrie?

Complaints like that should be addressed to the TV station itself... they have duty offices for a reason

Same thing happened on tonight's Emmerdale. I bet someone will be complaining about that! Laughing

I'm surprised there were only 2 complaints for Sex/Nudity in Come Dine With Me, presumably that was the 8pm episode where the diners found a dildo in the draw of the host. Even I was a little surprised that they had it on on that time!
