See I deleted the full stops from the title and now it's changed it back to "havecom"! but if I select edit, the edit box says "OfCom"
Think it might be yet another flaw on the swear filter. Changing 'Should of' to 'Should have'.
I put 3 spaces in between them and it writes it ok. Try that.

No it doesn't. Put if back how it should be as its initials aren't like that. Ofcom = Office of Communications.

This ship has sailed. There was much discussion back when Ofcom were after responses to thier proposals, including on here. The decision was made and it won't be changed.
There is no reason why the spectrum being sold can't be used for HD DTT broadcasting as all the auctions allow any use of the spectrum. There just needs to be someone with a big enough wallet to buy the rights.

Can someone tell me why terrestrial is being done away with?
This digital television is terrible. I far preferred it when you had the choice of either Sky Television [with about 20 channels, 10 foreign] and/or BSB alongside terrestrial. Those were the better days of TV, rather than now.
I also don't see the point of HDTV. I have seen them and it looks like the screen needed cleaning.
Can't these TV companies along with the Culture Secretary hold a nationwide poll? I think so.
As you can tell, I do not like this forced digital switchover - a money-making scam.

It's analogue TV that's being done away with. There will still be terrestrial (through an ariel) digital TV (Freeview etc.) - though not a very good TV system if Ofcom sells the bandwidth and not many HD & SD channels if they do or not a very high quality picture if they do.
Analogue TV is being done away with off probably because they think digital is the future, also so they can make money off selling the analogue frequencies
and so they can fit more channels/HD in the analogue frequencies. The more channels you fit in though, the worse the picture quality will be. With digital though you should be able to do more things than with analogue, like send data for episode guides/recording, and the picture being sent out (however bad because they sold a lot of the frequencies), with digital, shouldn't be any worse when it gets to consumer TVs (well unless there's picture breakup for whatever reason - but it won't ghost like analogue TV can sometimes - though having said that analogue TV could be very good quality too).

It should have course leave it as is.
One could , of course, use a comma.
Also, I shan't answer this poll simply because it's a leading question. Also, the frequencies are not 'ours'. They do not 'belong' to anyone.
