Ofcom to allow sponsorship of entire channels

We have people that moderate these forums and decide when someone has posted something out of order.

Yes, there are occasionally less than intelligent contributions, but sometimes the negative response to them can be equally annoying. They've not murdered anyone, so i don't think they deserve to be addressed in that tone.

That may not be a good thing. Remember when Talksport were refused permission to rename to Talk Talk (and only temporarily for a week too) as part of a carphone warehouse sponsorship deal.

The resulting mess was the station officially still called 'Talksport', but branded in trailers and on the website as '1089/1053 AM Radio' and referred to in programmes as 'Talk with Talk Talk'.

On reflection, 'Challenge 888' would probably be better than an ensuing mess of various names to get around rules not allowing name changes.

Sorry to ask what might be a silly question, but how is this company spelt? It's just that I've seen their logo somewhere that spells it Ofcon, but I can't remember where.

Only they're not very good at it, if the moderation can't, the membership have to.

Ok, let's move on because it's not the place for this discussion. I just disagree with the way some members are rude to people who innocently post what is sometimes seen as the less useful information, and that was a perfect example. And i'm nobody's darling.

Just what are you on about? The reason I posted was I was imagining how they would announce on air their sponsorship. Fair enough maybe I should have explained more, but I don't get what you're rambling on about.

Yes my comments are not meant as insults to anyone, and i dont appreciate spiteful and snidy remarks, fair enough i agree some of my posts are not the best. im all for constructive criticism, but whats the point in these vengeful remarks.

I much prefer the more relaxed moderation on this forum than the unnecessarily strict moderation you get on certain unnamed forums.

We already have Gala TV, we had Exchange and Mart TV about a year ago too.
