Odd goings on with 701 & 702

Right, just tuned to 701 on Freeview (one of the three BBC Interactive streams) and it's changed a bit.

Instead of the usual BBCi 701 slide I have a purple slide, with 35 in the top corner, an oval in a box below it and huge 5's zooming into the screen. Over this there is an audio loop with someone saying "Three five, audio one."

This is exactly the same on 702, but all the 5's are replaced with 6's and the voice over is "Three six, audio one"

Any idea what these are?

On Digital Satellite, the streams are labelled just like what you say is currently on 701 & 702.
For 701: 'Three' means (on Digital Sat) that it is interactive Transponder 3, and 'Five' means that its interactive stream 5 on transopnder 3.
For 702, its transponder 3, just stream 6.

I would guess that it has something to do with the Six Nations interactive, and they are preparing the streams for use, at the same time as the DSat ones, and so they have just combined them

Never mind, they've gone back to the normal 701 and 702 slides now.
