Ocean Finance Television

I thought people might be interested to know that Ocean Finance TV (Sky 888) has closed down and is currently broadcasting ARQIVA colour bars. The interactive Press Red app is still partially broadcasting, but the video stream for that is also broadcasting colour bars. See it while you can, I imagine the channel will be removed from the EPG before tomorrow.

A sad day for television.

EDIT : For some reason this thread has been locked so I can't add to it. I just wanted to correct what I said above, you can still see the videos behind the 'Press Red' app by selecting 'All Products' from the Main Menu.

Indeed, it helps to put everything else into perspective. Such a sad loss. The Sky EPG will never be the same again.....

So, how long until the capacity is filled by some more sh*t? No doubt 'We Buy Any Car TV' or something will be on channel 888 by next week.

EDIT: Why has this thread been locked? Sure, it isn't a mainstream channel but it will still be of interest to some on this forum, especially the test-card on the now empty channel stream.

If it was lack of money that stopped the channel, why didn't they just take out a loan?

It will be a sad day for television when the colour bars are removed.
