Something like that - they save on satellite time and DTT space and concentrate on just those who they have to broadcast on.

Well yes, but only part of it, the rest is owned by Sky and someone else
Of course there were originally 4 GSkyB channels - Talk TV, Good Life (split up into about 5 sub-channels - that idea didn't last long!), Plus and Men & Motors
Men & Motors surprisingly has always done very well, far better than Breeze anyway
