Read it on TV PLUS on Teletext, A new Saturday night show fronted by Philip Scholfield( I don't know how to spell it) where members of the public tell a big secret or make a big annoucement.
For example'' The Nation........ I'm Gay(slowly does jazz hands going off the stage)
Is this the worst idea for Satuday nights scince He's Having A Baby
Or is the new show going to be a replacement for a show from a few years ago called Whatever You Want - which seemed to be a replacement for Jim'll FIx It!
Why can't there be an entertainment show that mixes elements of Jim'll Fix It, Game For A Laugh and How/How2. That would make me watch - be more entetaining than Strictly Dance Fever!!!!
One idea for the series which never made it to air (probably because of BBC1 going 24 hours) was for one lucky viewer to have their image in Test Card F for a time, complete with their choice of music...if nothing else that tells you how long ago WYW was aired.

Indeed - as Testcard F was retired years ago in favour of Testcard W and J!

Though TCF did get changed for Comic Relief 1993, though I don't know who she was. She looks a bit like Phillipa Forrester, though it clealry isn't her.
If BBC have bought the services of Phil Schofield then presumably they have a programme for him, or are we going to see another "Graham Norton" type debacle where they have no idea what to do.
I must say, PS is hardly a catch. Sky Travel could've probably tempted him with a regular salary of about £50K, if anything more from BBC then I'm going to put my dog forward for audition at the next opportunity.

My understanding was that this is an ITV show. Philip Schofield seems to be one of those people that isn't tied to one broadcaster and gets work from both BBC and ITV.
Schofield's Quest (Cheap Sunday evening show if I remember) and Schofield's TV Gold spring to mind. Not to mention Talking Telephone Numbers, which was, at the time after Going Live, the only thing worth watching with him in it.
