I don't know, he just rubs me the wrong way. I don't really like his voice and he's a little pudgy. But that's mean. Why is Gavin Esler the senior News 24 presenter? They should make Hayton the senior presenter when he switches. I like Esler even less than Gowing.
He was the 'Face' of N24 for a while: at least during 1999 and 2000 - he was the star of most publicity trailers on BBC Terrestrial and Digital services.
