Sally's been here a while. Blimey, Carol Lowe has only ever presented the late bulletin once!! Martin Henfield always does it, or recently its been Tony Morris and Stuart Flinders next week.

[quote="itsrobert"]Yes - nearly!! It would be:

'Across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and North Cheshire, this is BBC ONE with North West Tonight presented my Gordon Burns'

Just out of interest - does BBC North West not cover South Cheshire as well? It's just I'm sure I remember watching it at my grandmother's house who used to live in Alsager, South Cheshire which is very close to the border with Staffordshire.

It may well do, I think they can recieve Midlands Today as well down there. North West Today may cover that area as well.

Also doesn't it cover North Wales (Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Conwy [maybe even Gwynedd and Anglesey?]) as well?

Obviously the BBC wouldn't admit it on their titles with the shape of the region, but does news from this area appear on NWT.
I always remember that it did on Granada Tonight

No. This is Wales Today. It may well broadcast to North Wales, like I get Wales Todau, but it only contains news from Merseyside, Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire. The lowest parts of the region bordering Wales is Cheshire and Wirral.
