Well, as people have mentioned, many presenters are off at the time being - Look North having presenters all over the place, well North West Today is no different. Instead of Julia Sharp at the weekend, Nigal Jay presented, who does Breakast, and continued this week! Tony Morris has been filling in for Martin Henfield on the 2225 bulletin, and Tony Morris also did today North West Today at 1330, 1550 and North West Tonight at 1830 and will shortly be doing the 2225 again! What a busy day! Actually its not that bad for me, as it gives me the opportunity to capture a load more balloons because of the different presenters. It also caused us to have a live announcement over the clock at the start of the 6 tonight, as this combination (Huw and Tony) has only happened once in the last 6 months!

Alas, you're wrong. Nigel Jay did the 1.30pm today. Sorry to be picky.

Blimey - thanks!! I didn't know that! So they played out the 'Now on BBC ONE, North West Today with Nigel Jay'!! I missed it - never mind. I hope he does it tomorrow, I'll set the tape just in case.

Actually the next Bank Holiday is in August so he'll probably do North West Today at lunch if it follows like it has in the past, so I should be able to get that then along with any other strange stings which I have never seen before that they throw up!

I've just heard Gordon Burns was down at Wimbledon on Centre Courst yesterday, thats why he wasn't on!

Also, who presented North West Today at lunch today? Gordon Burns did 1830, but he said he was at some award ceremony at dinner time, so does that mean Nigel Jay was on again - I forgot to set my tape!

Talking of weird presenters.

Sue Beardsmore and Ashley Blake presented Thursday's Midlands Today. Ashley is Midlands Today's entertainment correspondent BTW and he used to do the late bulletins.

What was weird was, there was a BBC ONE Midlands ident then the full Midlands Today titles and a good evening from Sue Beardsmore.

As regional headlines are recorded I presume that Ashley was a last minute replacement and they didn't have time to record the headlines and/or he was too nervous to do them live.
