How do they pick the places to put on the titles? Is it purely in order of the most populated towns/cities across the region? Or is it more stick a pin into a map!!

Judging by the Newsroom South East titles, I think it's just a reasonable spread of towns from around the region. My own town, Reigate, is on the NSE titles, but I can't remember the last time we got any other mention on the programme!

IF the Hull sub-opt was a completely new regional programme in itself, I'd choose the following placenames:

Hull, Skegness, Scunthorpe, Horncastle, Grimsby, Lincoln, Beverley, Boston, Cleethorpes, Bridlington, Louth, Hornsea, Grantham, Withernsea, Gainsborough, Sleaford, Brigg and Driffield.
