Can I change the size difference on screen for SKY?
I am getting quite annoyyed with the letter NOT fitting in the screen surface area etc.
The BBC news is the worst, the weather bar at bottom goes completely out of screen! (this is the case for BBC One News)

Please help!!!!!

Eh? Confused

I think you mean that you have a 4:3 TV and are losing bits of the picture?

You can change the screen options through Settings, Picture (4, 1 on the services menu).

Try turning letterbox on.

With analogue, you get 14:9 and see the thin black bars top and bottom of the screen (a halfway between widescreen and normal).

With Sky, you don't get the halfway point - you have a choice between true widescreen (16:9) and normal (4:3). You have it on the latter, so it has the appearance of being zoomed in.

As already mentioned, go to Setup and turn Letterbox Mode on, and you will have true widescreen. If you don't want this, you'll have to put up with it or push 'TV' and button '1'.

I agree, it would be good to have the `thin bars` option, I too get annoyed by the huge letterbox facilities.

I'd love to buy a w i d e s c r e e n , but sadly they are still a little too expensive

The BBC News 24 clock, logo and web address fit on to my TV perfectly, where our Digibox is located. It's not widescreen. But when I've seen it on my friend's Sky Digi, it's all buggered up! It's completely out of proportion and not right at all!
