Noel's House Party

Who remembers Noel's House Party? It used to be shown on the BBC on Saturday nights and was one of the best shows ever!

Noel with his Mr Blobby, setting cameras up in peoples' houses and making them do stupid things. Then he made it even better and put the people in stupid situations for a week. And at the end if they answered a question wrong they stayed there another week! One guy spent two weeks in a hot desert, dragging some heavy wood with him! It was great telly. The man was not a happy bunny and wanted to kill Noel.

Then there was the gotcha. Where he set up random celebs and, again, put them in silly situations.

And then there was the gunging and grab a grand! It was fantastic.

Of course some eejits had to go and complain about these "poor" people being stuck in deserts or left tied to a dinghy, in the sea, for a week and got the show axed. What's wrong with doing all that?

I say bring it back! I miss Noel with his sad jumpers and crap jokes. This is what used to make staying in on Saturday night good fun.

It is back sort of... if you've ever seen Saturday Night Take Away with the very popular Ant and Dec then you can't help but see memories of House Party.

Same show, same kind of ideas. new name.

They might as well have called it Saturday House Party. Or Saturday Night Party.

Noel is good, but never go back, move forward. ITV would do well to give him a show that he can be just as naff as he always was.

It was awful. Possibly the worst TV programme I've ever seen.

It deserves its place in the dustbin!

Well if you spell it right and look in the dictionary it'll surely mention said house party as an example!

Dodgy show... my dad was on it about five shows before it was axed... he was the ex-marine who swore on the show after he found out he was going to be sent to New York to spend a week in The Bronx. The following week when we went to record the follow up show (when my add got back from NY, Noel told us that although there had been many complaints about the swearing, they reckoned they'd get a lot more viewrrs, and they did in the few weeks after that show.

Great experience going to the BBC to see how it is filmed etc.... and they put us up in a great hotel, The Hilton Kensington in Holland Park... been there several times since

So that's where all our licence fee goes then... hmm.

hmm it is back. but now it's called Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow...

I want Noels House Party back!!
It brought fun to a Saturday! Now we get crap like Born to win, wright around the world!

I would also like Telly Addicts back! Now that was a really good show!
