I didn't actually buy the People just for that, by the way. I only buy a tabloid on a Sunday for the football and I buy the People because I can't bear the arrogance and self-importance of the papers, but the People has such a small budget and circulation it can't be very arrogant and self-important. I don't especially like it.

That story underneath about John Lydon, by the way, is the exact same story that was in the papers a year ago - https://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/sep/24/john-lydon-says-he-was-banned-from-bbc-over-jimmy-savile-comments - and a Google suggests it was also in the papers in both 2013 and 2014. And on every occasion it's been total rubbish. The Beeb played a lot of Sex Pistols records before you said that, did they, John?

He's obviously referring to the Paralympics.

Are the people stupid? and is the mail stupider? This has plays right into Noel Edmund hands, who will be rubbing them to together with all this attention? He did the video the papers pick it up and Noels wins either way, people are taking about him.

I'm not sure why The People exists though as it's mostly a duplicate of the Sunday Mirror

I don't know why it exists either, and the football section is exactly the same in both papers, but as it doesn't have Carole Malone in it, the People is better than the Mirror. You'd think Trinity Mirror might have a better return if they made one good paper instead of two mediocre ones, but who knows what goes on in their heads?
