Noel's House Party

I'm going to have nightmares.

He did that thing on Sky 1 didn't he? Where he basically ranted about Broken Britain and Political Correctness Gone Mad in front of a studio audience, who then got showered in confetti, balloons and had to clap while the lights flashed in a slightly House Party-esque fashion.

I think it was called "Noel Shouts At You - LIVE!" or something.

It was terrible.

Waiting for the punchline on that vid - it never comes. What was it from?

Geeky presentation note - that bit was later re-edited, I think for the DVD release, to include the then-current Channel 4 News graphics. The original broadcast used the older graphics with the orange '4' logo.

It's Brass Eye. The whole surrealism of the segment is the gag.

If you google the fake name, you get an image of 'Miss Priscilla Prim' hosted on his own website, but there is no link to a page it's on or any explanation.

Perhaps we'll get the tabloid headline of 'Noel Edmonds "I'm living as a woman but keeping my beard"'.

Perhaps he's trying to win his ex wife Helen back.

Interesting that the YouTube channel the video advises us "not to visit" has this video, of a complete episode from 1993- clearly from a broadcast quality source, not an off-air recording. And uploaded the day before "Precilla Prim" uploaded her video.



Despite the page's claim to be a "fan page", I'd wonder how fans would get hold of broadcast quality copies of the episode, and the timing of the upload of the most recent video seems suspect too. That page is presumably less unofficial than it seems (Noel owns some rights to the show, doesn't he? Certainly Unique- his company- co-produced the later series).

James, I don't think anyones doubting the NHP YT channel is something to do with Edmonds.

I was pointing out the exitence of the channel anyway, as nobody else even mentioned it before my post. I think it likely answers what the Precilla Prim video is all about anyway- Noel's likely to be using that channel to post more content from the show, and he's dressed in drag to publicise it.

Yeah the video is probably nothing more than a promotion for that as well as this latest dig at the BBC. But then this is the Noel Edmonds who now drives a London cab with a doll called Candice in the back, used to draw cryptic shapes on his hand, used his latest light entertainment show to attack a Councillor live on TV and said he would buy the BBC with his own money.... so... (oh and DOND is essentially on it's way out and he's not stupid enough to realise this but he's not somebody who will be told!).
