Noel's Christmas Presents Returns

They did multi-start with it as well tonight. Is it just me or is Noel's Christmas Presents so much better than the Rolf Harris & Dale Winton versions that followed it? I'd love to see it back on Christmas Day on BBC1 again.

It was really great to see this back on TV again.

The rewarding story with the 79 year old man who can no longer play the role of Santa due to ill health really was really lovely. As was the Deal or no Deal contestant being given a trip to America.

Noel creates the right amount of natural timing and emotion for this sort of thing. It's not all done in a sudden 'glitzy glamour revealing' sort of way which is why it makes it interesting for not only the person but the viewers.

Also, they seem to have badly cut Noel's intro video from the Sky website..(watch the end) http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1329255372

The show was a success and watched by 1.1 million on its first showing.
