Shame it's only a one off though.

He wouldn't have the time to do anything long term with the BBC due to his Channel 4 commitment to Deal Or No Deal.

Great news, and I wonder whether this new show will revive the original National Lottery Live theme music?

Oh and kudos to TMF for spelling Noel's surname right, so many people seem to think it's "Edmunds" although I realise that I risk opening a Dine(n)age style can of worms again here Wink

Perhaps he will return to BBC1 on Christmas Day. Surely one of the greatest programmes that the BBC ever produced, and as close to their public service remit as possible. Christmas Day hasn't been the same since his 'Christmas Presents' disappeared.

But the press release suggests that he'll be doing more shows. I think it's great news and Saturday nights have really missed him.

Edmonds' last BBC series was Noel's House Party, which ended in 1999

Didn't he do a hidden camera series looking at footage from around the world just before he left the Beeb/TV?

That was, I think, The Secret World of the Hidden Camera.

There was also Unwrapped - 10 years ol Noels' Christmas Presents (which went out on a summer Bank Holiday!) and the final Noel's Christmas Presents itself.

A National Lottery version of DOND? Now that would be strange
